Let me preface this by saying that I have not seen the original French series this is based on. I’m also a very big Fassbunder fan, so take those things into consideration. I’ve seen others bashing the writing. I just don’t agree at all. It may be very mysterious and a bit vague at times, but it’s all building and kept me very intrigued and interested. I felt the other main actors were very solid in their roles, so far. Fassbender is great but a bit subdued. Although that’s obviously going to change based on upcoming previews. Also, the actress Jodie Turner. Smith is new to me, but I’m loving her so far. You can feel things are really bubbling under the surface so I’m looking forward to next episodes.
